Job Opportunity: Area Care Supervisor
An exciting opportunity has arisen for another Area Care Supervisor to join our growing team at our Newport, Shropshire office. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our company. You will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of care and support for our clients in their own homes. Your responsibilities will include overseeing a team of care professionals, monitoring service quality, and maintaining compliance with regulations.
Your key responsibilities:
1. Supervise and lead a team of caregivers, providing guidance, training, and support.
2. Conduct regular home visits to assess client needs and perform quality assurance checks.
3. Introduce clients and care professionals.
4. Create care plans and coordinate services to meet individual client requirements.
5. Maintain accurate client records and documentation in compliance with regulations.
6. Monitor and evaluate care professionals’ performance, providing feedback and implementing improvement plans.
7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, families, and clients for effective care coordination.
8. Ensure all services provided align with company policies and industry standards.
9. Address and resolve client and care professional concerns promptly and compassionately.
10. This role involves on-call duties.
11. Perform any other duties necessary for the successful operation of the business.
Qualifications:
* Experience in delivering and managing care support services in a similar setting.
* Hold a NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance.
* Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
* Flexibility to meet the needs of the business.
* Compassion and empathy for clients and their families.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Own vehicle and valid driving license required.
