PSA BDP serves over 5, customers, including some of the world's leading multinational companies within the chemical, retail & consumer, life sciences & pharmaceuticals, and electric vehicle & industrial verticals.
Scope:
The position is established as the Regional Head of the Sub Vertical within the Consumer Retail & Fashion industry, as the regional (EUR/META - APAC - AMERICAS) representative for the sub-vertical's management, growth, leadership and talent development within the defined geography.
The key deliverables for the position would be:
1. Existing Book of Business Establish and develop relationships with the senior management of the existing book of business. Develop and maintain close working relationships with the account's corporate operational leadership team and account performance. Proactively engage, develop and implement new business sales opportunities to further develop the book of business within the account. Strategically align with global leadership to champion the account to support customer satisfaction and continued partnership. Plan and coordinate the transition of the customer to the Vertical Strategy for Operations and IT Systems to ensure the vertical can realize global optimization synergies and greater process automation.
2. New Business Development A priority for each regional sub-vertical is to win new business in line with the vertical strategy. Review, maintain and adjust the pipeline list as minimally as possible to ensure focused energies are quantified at least annually. Establish a targeted list of Pipeline accounts that are globally aligned to the Sub Vertical as a priority. The pipeline should be a blended element consisting of: Globally defined Sub Vertical Target Accounts Regional Target Accounts that the direct reports identify as Regionally Strategic Accounts for development (existing relationships/HQ Location) BD sales Country Specific Accounts that the Matrix reports identify as good to develop
3. Financial performance management Develop and present business cases to the Global Sub Vertical Manager to explain, educate and detail assumptions, baseline structure, asset investments, depreciation values, implementation costs, operational and FTE operating costs and deployment timelines.
4. Lead System Demonstrator Whilst the company has a team of professional demonstrators of our IT suite of tools, it is expected that the Global Sub Vertical Heads will become fluent in presenting and leading in-depth discussions on PSA BDP's IT suite of tools.
5. Control Tower Engagement Engage, mentor, support and act as a role model to the Control Tower team members to ensure they are driving an optimised workflow, adhering to associated SOP's and identifying potential optimisations to drive performance.
6. Vertical Strategy Develop a region specific pipeline for direct reports to work on to support the rapid growth and development of the vertical, specifically targeting global headquarters located in the various regions. Identify and maintain the BD Sales Network pipeline and ensure that the sub-vertical team supports, enhances and demonstrates value in closing new business for the BD Sales Network.

12. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending training workshops, conferences and seminars
13. Identify potential gaps in existing or related procedures, systems and tools
Job Requirements:
14. Solid knowledge of ocean freight and CFS warehouse operations
15. Experience in freight services
16. Strong relationships with customer network to leverage PSA BDP implementation
17. Experience of serving global retail customers is essential
18. Strong ability to define, train, develop and document operational processes and procedures
19. Ability to communicate cross-functionally within a matrix organization
20. Good communication skills

27. Degree holder with a minimum of 5 years operational work experience in global freight forward/logistics company
28. Minimum of 2 years experience in CFS warehousing operations, contract logistics and related matters.
29. Exposure and knowledge of 3PL and Order/Freight Management operations
30. Excellent English and local language skills
