As a Quality Inspector, you’ll benefit from: Competitive hourly pay: £14.00 – £19.50ph (£28,900 – £39,500 annually DOE) Half-day Fridays and a 39-hour work week Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) for personal and professional support Training and development opportunities tailored to your needs Free onsite parking and hot drinks 25 days holiday bank holidays As a Quality Inspector, your responsibilities will include: Inspecting both in-house and externally manufactured components for compliance Using manual inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, shadow graphs, etc.) Identifying non-conformance and supporting the quality team in root cause investigations Promoting quality across the shop floor, working collaboratively to uphold high standards Supporting FAIRs, NCRs and related documentation in line with customer and industry standards As a Quality Inspector, your skills and experience will include: Engineering background with relevant qualifications or hands-on shop floor experience Strong understanding of technical drawings, tolerances and quality control principles Confident with a wide range of manual measuring equipment Good numerical, IT and communication skills A proactive, team-focused attitude and keen attention to detail Desirable but not essential: Experience working within Aerospace or Defence industries Familiarity with AS9102 FAIRs, NCRs, and BS EN9100 standards Knowledge of CMM (Mitutoyo Crysta Apex) and/or Hexagon Absolute Arm 3D scanning If you’re ready to play a key role in upholding high quality standards in precision engineering, apply today or contact Charlie at Rubicon for more information
