Description This is a fixed term contract position for 2 years. Responsible for leading large cross-departmental Engineering, Supply Chain and Operations projects. Responsible for developing detailed project scope documents with input from area stakeholders and executing projects through to completion, owning all project processes and contractor management within scope. Lead projects and initiatives, which will be defined in collaboration with management. He or she is the focal point for key project initiatives on site and will have a pro-active role in continuous improvement on site. Ensure the health and safety of Site personnel, Contractors and visitors, through the adherence to and implementation of safe systems of work, guided by SW policies and H&S legislation in conjunction with EHS. Responsible for ensuring all projects are specified to comply with all relevant regulations and SW Standards e.g. machinery safety directive, PUWER, DSEAR etc. and reviewing certification of installs. Responsible for completing PUWER assessments and commissioning documentation for projects. Supports the site with SEVESO/COMAH actions relating to Engineering. Assists the Engineering department with internal RAMS. Projects Responsible for creating project scope documentation and phased project plans for large cross-departmental projects, in conjunction with the area owners and stakeholders. Responsible for preparing capex documentation and design documents, liaising with contractors to obtain the best price for the solution. Act as Project Manager for allocated CAPITAL projects. Leads and contributes to Management of Change and Commissioning processes to ensure equipment is handed over to relevant parties in a safe and fit for purpose condition. Managing CAPITAL projects contractors working on site and ensuring they adhere to the site’s safety standards including Contractor approval, review of RAMS and issuing of PTW’s on a SEVESO/COMAH site. Plans CAPITAL project contractor activities with relevant stakeholders, e.g. arranging equipment availability with Production/Planning. Manages Project budgets and schedules. Provides key milestone updates and stakeholder reviews regularly to update on progress. Manages eFCA process for key projects ensuring projects remain within budget and follow the formal Capital approval processes. Continuous Improvement Proactively drives Engineering Continuous Improvements to increase Production volumes and enhance site safety to exceed the standards expected from a SEVESO/COMAH and Sherwin Williams site. Engineering Contributing to the Engineering Management System by issuing Engineering Procedures. Qualifications Engineering/Project Management degree Formal Project Management qualifications : Prince 2/ APM. NEBOSH would be advantageous. 5 years’ experience in a Hazardous manufacturing environment. Working knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation 2 years’ experience of RAMS and PTW issuing/approving. Regulatory understanding, including, PSSR, LOLER, PUWER, HASAW 1974, SEVESO/COMAH. Working knowledge of ATEX/DSEAR. Experience with Project Management tools, ie Gantt. Commissioning and Management of Change. Proficient in AutoCAD.
