Robert Half are delighted to be supporting a multi-national business on the recruitment of a Finance Assistant to join the team. Our client is a SME business with an impressive scope of services they provide to their industry.
This is a full-time and permanent position (39 hours per week), that would require someone on site 5 days per week. This role can either be based from our client's Holsworthy or Honiton office.
Responsibilities of the Finance Assistant will include but not be limited to:
* Managing both accounts receivables and accounts payables to ensure timely invoicing, collections and payments.
* Reconciling both customer and supplier accounts to ensure accuracy of accounts.
* Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers.
* Conducting bank reconciliations, stock valuations and inventory tracking.
* Managing all credit control processes to ensure collection of outstanding debts.
* Providing support to the wider Finance team and Finance Manager with month end procedures, payroll, audit and more.
Your Profile:
1. Prior experience working in a similar Finance Assistant position is essential for this role.
2. Excel proficient - having worked with SAGE accounting software is highly desirable.
3. Exceptional interpersonal skills, able to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
