Our client is a leading vehicle maintenance / repair service covering Cambridgeshire and East Bedfordshire/ Northamptonshire. They are looking to recruit a new Engineering Manager who would have multi-site responsability. This role includes a clear progression route to an Engineering Director position so is aimed at people looking to continue their engineering career and journey.
Role & Responsibilities:
This role reports into and works alongside the Operations Manager
Ensuring the vehicles and Facilities are maintained to a high-standard
Gaurunteeing the safety of staff and compliance to legislation
Implementing and developing engineering processes- this will involve liasing with key stakwholders in the business as well as local authorities
Driving continuous improvements and cost-saving initiatives in the business
Managing multi-site engineering teams of skilled and unskilled workers
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
A recognised Engineering Qualification- Ideally in Engineering transport Maintenance and Repair
Hands-on experience of repairing and maintaining larger vehicles- including HGVs, Buses, Coaches ect
Experience in a senior/multisite leadership role
Knowledge of Road Transport and H&S Legislation
