Due to continued growth, Bellrock Technologies is looking for an experienced Bids and Proposals Writer to support and enhance the proposal writing and submission process for product suite. This is a fast-paced environment where opportunities typically require a formal tender or proposal submitted within strict deadlines. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience writing compelling bids and proposals, particularly in the software/SaaS space, and across both public and private sectors.
At Bellrock Technologies, our Solutions team manages client interactions and owns all opportunities, using ChatGPT & AutogenAI as our knowledge library. Your role will be to craft persuasive, strategically aligned proposal content, enabling our Solutions team to present our product suite clearly, effectively, and submit compelling, winning bids. Additionally, you'll demonstrate robust project management skills, confidently managing multiple stakeholders, driving adherence to deadlines, and ensuring high-quality submissions.

And as a Bids and Proposal Writer with Bellrock, you’ll do it by
* Crafting persuasive, concise, and compelling written responses for bids, proposals, and tender submissions, aligned with Bellrock Technologies’ language guidelines and brand voice
* Drafting and refining initial responses to quality questions using AutogenAI and other AI tools, effectively prompting and instructing these systems to deliver high-quality, strategically aligned content
* Ensuring all written proposals clearly communicate Concerto’s capabilities, benefits, and unique selling points, supporting our Solutions team to effectively present our product suite to clients
* Collaborating closely with the Solutions team to thoroughly understand client requirements, translating these into powerful, tailored bid responses that enhance our chances of success
* Continuously improving and updating bid library content, capturing compelling narratives, case studies, and evidence-based information from successful submissions and organisational knowledge
* Proactively engaging with the Product team to stay current on product developments, translating technical functionality into client-focused content suitable for proposal responses
* Applying an appreciation for proposal design aesthetics, clearly communicating visual concepts and content layout ideas to the Marketing and graphic design team, ensuring visually appealing and professional tender submissions
* Reviewing all written content holistically before submission to the Solutions Director and Sales & Marketing Director, ensuring proposals meet high-quality standards and maximise scoring potential
* Identifying opportunities to enhance written content quality through competitor analysis, sector knowledge, and continuous refinement of language, tone, and style
* Ensuring technical accuracy and coherence of all proposal content, collaborating closely with technical stakeholders to validate and refine responses
* Maintaining meticulous attention to detail, ensuring each written submission meets the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and clarity
* Direct line management of the Bid Coordinator, providing clear guidance, support, and mentorship to effectively assist in bid-related tasks and content preparation, fostering their professional growth.
What does it take?
If you’re ready to be the energy that helps us build our business, share our success, and really own it as a Bids and Proposal Writer, you’ll need
* At least 5 years’ experience as a bids and proposals writer, ideally gained across both the public and private sectors, with at least 2 years’ experience specifically writing proposals for software/SaaS solutions
* Proven expertise in crafting high-quality proposal content, with the ability to effectively articulate complex technical concepts in clear, compelling language
* Experience in leveraging AI tools such as AutogenAI and ChatGPT for bid content generation, including prompting, refining, and enhancing outputs to achieve the highest standards of written quality
* Technologically savvy, confident in rapidly adopting and effectively using new digital tools, software, and platforms relevant to bid management
* Highly proficient in Microsoft 365 (particularly Teams), CRM platforms, tender/procurement portals, and ideally Contracts Advance
* A clear appreciation for proposal aesthetics and design, capable of effectively briefing designers to produce visually engaging bid documents
* Strong skills in managing and balancing multiple proposal projects simultaneously, maintaining a consistently high standard of work and adhering strictly to deadlines
* Experience in directly managing or mentoring team members, demonstrating the ability to support, guide, and develop colleagues effectively
* Degree educated or equivalent professional qualification, demonstrating excellent written communication, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
