Location: This is a hybrid role based in our Wythall office with time spent working in the office and at home.

The role
This is an exciting time to join the Finance Transformation, Data & Systems (FTDS) team as Phoenix Group continues several key strategic Finance programmes. We are at the heart of these change initiatives and are responsible for:
1. Co-ordination and delivery of Actuarial change in line with the Change and Release management principles and process across Finance Systems for Project activity and BAU.
2. Ensuring all systems managed by Actuarial Change and Systems adhere to the Release & Configuration Management process, Risk Management Framework and associated local controls.
3. Assisting to ensure that Actuarial system Releases are planned, coordinated and communicated to fully support the quarterly valuation cycle and scheduled Release plan.
You will be responsible for:
4. Assisting the Change and Release Manager with managing deployments to all Integrate cloud test and production environments as well as managing the schedule, dependencies and risks across each Release and multiple Projects.
5. Assisting with project development and deployment activities for multiple Actuarial systems at relevant stages ensuring Service Management Tools are updated.
6. Assisting with regular and accurate Release Stage Gate governance ensuring key stakeholders are fully aware of risks and issues.
7. Assisting with remediation of both production Incidents and testing defects related to projects and Releases by liaising with development and test teams, business users and external suppliers.
8. Assisting to ensure an appropriate Release & Configuration approach is documented and agreed which balances the criticality of the change schedule against the complexity of system and process changes.
9. Assist in the delivery of continuous improvement of the Change, Release and Configuration management process with the aim of maximising system stability and reducing change related Incidents and Problems.
What are we looking for?

13. You will have ITIL Foundation Certification or similar qualification.
14. Experience with Actuarial systems, data or Accounting systems is advantageous
15. Experience working on complex data programmes would be beneficial
