Job summary This role is a 12 month Fixed Term/Secondment We require a warm and friendly person to join our Admin team within Diabetes and Endocrinology at Queens Hospital Burton You will require strong communication skills as you will be working as part of a larger multi-disciplinary team. You will be required to demonstrate sensitivity and discretion. Main duties of the job Diabetes Centre reception cover Meeting and greeting patients/visitors Using hospital systems to register patient's arrival and departure Reception phone cover Liaising with nursing staff and consultant teams as required Book patient outcomes from clinic Management of waiting list when needed Booking interpreters for patients as required Managing patient DNA with consultant team / pending appointment on clinical systems.
