You will be joining a high-profile and established main contractor based in the Northwest operating in the water sector. This multi-accredited organisation has a strong pipeline of work, being United Utilities' preferred contractor for the delivery of their non-infrastructure works and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Their commitment to delivering an exceptional standard of work has positioned them as a leader in the water industry and, due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Commissioning Engineer to join their team.
Your new role:
* This is a freelance position.
* Preparing and maintaining detailed commissioning records and documentation
* Coordinating commissioning activities
* Chairing commissioning meetings with subcontractors and the client as and when required
* Reviewing and signing off commissioning documentation and RAMS
* Troubleshooting and resolving issues identified during commissioning
* Conducting pre-commissioning inspections and testing of equipment and systems.
In order to be successful, you must have:
* Proven commissioning experience in the water industry, ideally on non-infrastructure projects
* Process knowledge around treatment and water movement
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office packages
* Full UK driving licence.
