The Brownhill Learning Community is a federation of Brownhill Special School and the Pupil Referral Service who work together to provide education provision for school aged pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs who are out of the mainstream environment. There are four sites currently across Rochdale and pupils are placed according to their needs. Our aim is to identify and meet individual learning needs through a nurturing environment. We are looking for candidates that are dynamic, inspirational and can motivate children with significant challenges. We welcome applications from experienced staff with a commitment to changing the life chances of our pupils. Experience of working with pupils of all ages from primary to secondary will be an advantage. Experience of Team Teach and SEMH/PRU preferred. The post holders may be required to transport pupils using their own vehicle and will be required to work across all of the Brownhill Learning Community sites as required. The successful candidates will be required to commence in post as soon as possible.
