As a Cleaning Supervisor/Porter at Sodexo in HMRC Worthing. You'll supervise cleaning services to create a safe and healthy environment. You'll interact with your team and our clients daily, and you'll be improving the quality of life in everyone you meetWhat you'll do:Ensure completion of all requested/contracted tasks and motivate your team to effectively ensure these are completed in a timely and thorough manner.Oversee all areas of an office, including kitchens, toilets, communal areas, are kept clean and hygienic.Oversee the ordering of stock and consumables such as toilet tissue, cleaning products and appliancesBe a champion of health and safety practices - spot a near miss? Report it to keep your colleagues safeEnsure regular safety walks are completed, to pick up any hazards.Frequent feedback sessions with your team, to ensure they are confident and happy in their roles.What you bring:Essential -Demonstrate experience of working in a similar role within the service industry at a comparable level in a companyAbility to solve problems and liaise with your line manager to implement appropriate actionsPrevious experience of working in standards driven/compliance environmentStrong knowledge of health and safety and COSHH regulationsAbility to prioritise and deploy resources effectivelyAble to perform manual handling duties that may be required in line with certain cleaning equipment and tasksDesirable -Client relationship experienceAwareness of quality management systems e.g. ISOIOSH qualificationBritish Institute of Cleaning Science (BICS) qualifiedKnowledge of external cleaning developments and innovationsExperience of working within military environmentPrevious experience of effectively supervising a teamLeadership skills and knowledgeWhat we offer:Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it's a chance to be part of something greater.
