We are looking for dedicated Secondary School Cover Supervisors to join our team in Burton upon Trent About the Role: As a Cover Supervisor, you will: Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring a calm and focused learning environment. Deliver pre-planned lessons and maintain classroom discipline. Foster positive relationships with students and support their educational journey. Flexible working arrangements to suit your lifestyle. What We’re Looking For: Proven experience working with children in a school setting, ideally as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar role. Confidence in managing classroom behavior and engaging students in their learning. Strong organisational and communication skills. Flexibility to work full-time or part-time hours, depending on your availability. Requirements To be considered for the role of Secondary Cover Supervisor you will: Have previous experience working in a secondary school setting, ideally as a cover supervisor, teaching assistant, or similar role. Be confident managing classrooms and engaging with students aged 11–16. Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Be flexible, reliable, and adaptable to different school environments. Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship) Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.
