Civils Technician Job Overview
* Contribute your expertise in drainage adoption procedures, including Section 106/104, Sewers for Adoption, and SuDS Manual principles.
* Build strong client relationships and collaborate effectively with professional teams using your excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Use CAD software, such as AutoCAD or Civil 3D, to create accurate drawings and models.
* Support the production of technical reports, drawings, and specifications.
* Collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure designs meet client requirements and industry standards.
* Contribute to the design and implementation of sustainable drainage systems (SuDS).
* Coordinate with local authorities for approvals, including Section 38, 278, and 104 agreements.
Civils Technician Job Requirements
* Possess a recognized engineering or CAD qualification.
* Bring your civil engineering design consultancy experience.
* Technical expertise with highways and civil engineering design software such as Civil 3D, Site 3D, AutoTrack, and MicroDrainage/Flow.
* Ability to take ownership of the technical approval process with your self-motivation, initiative, and ability to work independently.
* Knowledge of highway planning procedures, including Section 38/278 Agreements, MfS, and DMRB standards.
* Ability to thrive in a team environment while following instructions and contributing to collaborative success.
