To support the Practice Nurses and Doctors in the implementation of individualised care and therapy programmes for patients. Respond to patient queries and requests for assistance from patients and other visitors to the surgery.

16. To assist in Chronic Disease Clinics, including monitoring inhaler technique and foot pulses
17. To perform NHS Health Checks and New patient checks
18. To provide examination of ears and ear syringing in line with protocol

Undertake the following basic administrative activities as necessary:
1. Answering the telephone, receiving and transmitting messages
2. Filing in forms
3. Liaise with other health care professionals
4. Ordering of equipment and other supplies
5. Filing and record keeping as necessary
6. To order, monitor and manage clinical supplies
7. To ensure clinical supplies are replaced/rotated across all clinical rooms
8. To support other Health Care Professionals in the various chronic disease management clinics
9. Any clinical tasks as deemed appropriate and supported by individual training
10. To record appropriate information in patient-held records, clinic records, and the practice computer system to comply with legal and professional requirements.

Person Specification
* It is essential for the applicant to have Level 3 or equivalent in Health & Social Care.
