Equans is recruiting for a Commercial Gas Engineer. The role will be based in Bellshill, with cover required for sites in Perth, Dundee, and Inverness. This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week. We offer a competitive salary and excellent benefits.
Responsibilities
1. Perform all PPM tasks according to maintenance specifications, documenting in real time.
2. Carry out reactive tasks across sites.
3. Complete relevant paperwork for PPM, reactive, and breakdown works.
4. Update the CAFM system in real time.
5. Address plant faults and defects promptly to maintain operational order.
6. Ensure availability of spare parts for maintenance and reactive works.
7. Undertake Point of Work Risk Assessments before starting work.
8. Supervise and monitor subcontractors on site.
9. Participate in the on-call rota and be available for overtime.

Candidate Requirements
* Recognized industry qualification and relevant experience.
* Trade qualified Combustion Engineer with post-apprenticeship experience (desirable).
* Full clean driver’s license.
* Asbestos awareness (preferred).
* MEWP license (preferred).
* First aid trained (preferred).
* Self-motivated, able to work independently.
* Team player, flexible, and adaptable.
* Availability for out-of-hours standby rota.
