Job Description
* Oversee the company's accounting operations and financial systems
* Prepare and analyse financial reports
* Develop and implement financial strategies
* Provide strategic financial advice to senior management
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
* Manage budgeting and forecasting activities
* Streamline financial processes for efficiency
* Lead the finance team and foster a positive working environment
The Successful Applicant
A successful Interim Financial Controller should have:
* A degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
* Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA) or qualified by experience
* Extensive experience in a similar role within a non-profit organisation
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations in a SME (<£30m income business)
* Excellent leadership and team management skills
* Able to commute to Reading on a hybrid basis.
