Job summary The Neuropsychiatry Outpatients' Team has great pleasure in seeking a Band 3 Clinical Support Assistant to join our existing team, based at Walkergate Park, Newcastle Upon Tyne. We are a regional service predominantly covering the Northeast of England and Cumbria. This post provides a rare and exciting opportunity to join an established Multidisciplinary Team working in the sometimes challenging but rewarding environment of Neuropsychiatry. You will work closely with the Community Practitioners and on occasions other professionals to provide community-based person-centred plans of care. You will support people who present with a broad range of complex and varied conditions, including, but not exclusively, Traumatic and Acquired Brain Injury, Tourette's, Huntington's Disease and Parkinson's. You will work in a highly supportive environment and will be provided with regular supervision. As a regional service, you will need to meet the mobility and geographical requirements of the post. Work independently in community and outpatient settings, adhering to the lone worker policy. Work closely with Community Practitioners and other professionals following person-centred plans of care.
