Hygiene Operative Monday to Friday 4pm – 1am £12.85 per hour Are you looking for a new opportunity within a factory environment? Riverway Foods, based in Harlow, is growing and we are recruiting for a full-time permanent Hygiene Operative to join our hygiene team on our twilight shift. Using only high-welfare pork from British farms, you’ll find us in supermarkets, including Aldi and Tesco. As our new Hygiene Operative, you will play a critical role within the Hygiene department. You will ensure that the production lines and equipment are cleaned according to the Safe System of Work. Role and responsibilities will also include: Ensuring Standard Operating Procedures are correctly followed Ensuring cleaning equipment is of working order and safe to use Cleaning machinery in machine wash to specification and ensuring the machines are of working order and safe to use Keeping line area clean at all times, including the removal of waste Using cleaning chemicals to correct concentrations Routine deep cleaning schedules Develop and promote a health and safety culture, ensuring regular and consistent job rotation. The Successful Individual Experience gained in a similar role is desirable but not essential, as training will be given The ability to comply with Hygiene Standard Operating Procedures and work well under pressure. Some heavy lifting and manual handling is a major requirement in this role.
