Job summary Mental Healthcare Support Worker (MHCSW) An exciting opportunity has arisen for Band 3 Mental Healthcare Support Workers (MHCSW) to join our happy and cohesive Emergency Department team as we start a multi million transformation and expansion. Main duties of the job We are a busy working environment with a high turnover of patients which sees and treats children and adults with a range of conditions including physical injuries and emergencies and mental health conditions. Clinical working areas include Majors, Minors, EDAU and Resus. We have a dedicated clinical practice educator team to ensure robust support and education as you begin your new journey, within this new and exciting role within the department. We have full time vacancies for motivated Mental Healthcare Support Workers to join the Emergency Department Team. This job involves internal rotation for all ED staff and we work 12.5 hour shifts (1 hour break), day and night.
