Job Description
The Operations Project Manager- EU will report to the Divisional Operations Director, forming a key part of the leadership team. They will be responsible for delivering the division's projects on time and within budget. They will:
1. Manage all divisional operations projects ensuring timely delivery and quality results
2. Develop and implement strategies for operational efficiency
3. Ensure clarity on project scope, costs, timing, quality & deliverables
4. Lead & coach our division in project management principles, project delivery, and change management
5. Work closely with Group PMO and implement solutions
6. Establish and monitor project budgets and timelines
7. Ensure all projects comply with industry regulations and company standards
8. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
9. Report progress and results to senior stakeholders
The Successful Applicant
The successful Operations Project Manager- EU will possess a range of the following:
1. Proven experience in managing complex multi-site project portfolios or large-scale transformation projects within a manufacturing environment
2. A strong engineering or site/operations management background
3. Clear understanding of business P&L/Working Capital/Balance sheet
4. Strong knowledge of continuous improvement methodology
5. Strong leadership acumen with the ability to engage staff across all levels, in all functions of the business
6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking
7. Outstanding communication and presentation skills
8. The ability to travel approx 50% of the time
