Lead utilities Permit Coordinator
Working for a Consultancy that works across the Southern region, supporting developers and residents in town planning application permits
Location: - Worthing
Salary: - £40,000 basic
Hybrid working, 3 days a week in the office and 2 days a week from home.
Role:
The Resolute Group are working in partnership with a national consultancy whose project team needs support in completing processing new planning applications. Working with local authorities, contractors, and homeowners, coordinating a small team to ensure the planning application process and documentation are correctly completed, and assisting in the process where required.
Managing a team of administrators, this position is a mixture of people management and stakeholder engagement. Updating the client with any issues regarding delays in the documentation process, following up with stakeholders to ensure the planning application is managed when delays happen and keeping a report of the ongoing projects.
There are various stages in the application process, and each step must be completed and documented to ensure the process is followed correctly. Understanding the process and the stakeholders involved and building strong relationships will be key. Clear communication, providing excellent customer service to the stakeholders, and proactively resolving potential delays or issues.
Job Requirement
The key element for this position is understanding street works and utility permits or an understanding of the planning application process; As a team leader, you will coordinate multiple planning applications concurrently with a team of administrators.
