Location - Lincoln based 2 days a week with 3 days working remotely
The Opportunity:
We’re looking for an Insurance Claims Facilitator interested in supporting our Rent Protection and Legal Expenses Insurance claims process.
Your main focus will be to support the key insurance aspects of the claims process, working with Letting Agents who’ve made a claim against their policy where a Tenant has fallen into arrears with their rental payments, or for another insured incident. Day to day this will typically include;
1. Reviewing all claims submissions, ensuring all relevant documentation is gathered and filed correctly, liaising with key stakeholders where further information is required
2. Assessing the claim against the policy wording and processes, to make a determination on cover
3. Communicating the outcome of a claim with the customer, and keeping customers up to date throughout the claims journey
4. Working alongside our panel solicitors where a claim can’t be resolved by mediation to recover possession of the rental property and any monies outstanding from the Tenant
5. Supporting the Senior Claims Facilitator with Rent Protection payment requests
6. Providing clear and factual information in line with our policy wordings and processes
Other day to day activities will include responding to inbound queries from our internal and external customers, supporting our in-house mediation process, speaking with tenants, guarantors and letting agents, where necessary, with the aim of reaching a resolution to the claim that is suitable for all parties, all within our agreed service levels.
What we need from you:
7. You have experience working in a process driven, administrative environment delivering outstanding customer service
8. You have excellent communication skills, and can establish rapport and trust with people quickly and effectively over the phone and in writing
9. You are super organised and have the ability to prioritise efficiently to manage your own caseload
It would be great if (but not essential):
10. You have previously worked in the lettings industry or within an insurance environment.
What's in it for you:
11. Grow with Goodlord: your development is important to us. Have a goal in mind? Share it with us and you can use your £1000 annual development fund to support it. We guarantee you’ll learn loads and develop both personally and professionally at Goodlord too!
12. Your well-being matters: bi-weekly coaching with Sanctus to provide Goodlordians with a safe place to talk and support your mental health
13. Unlimited holiday and flexible time off (subject to passing probation & fair usage policies): we encourage Goodlordians to make use of their unlimited time off to enjoy the world, recharge, and reboot. We also offer time off for volunteering and training, so you can give back to the community and pursue your passions
14. Supporting your family: we offer Goodlordians of all genders a generous 3 months of fully-paid time off to look after their new arrivals
Our mission:
15. Two in five people in the UK rent their homes. Goodlord's mission? To provide them with the best renting experience in the world
16. We started Goodlord because we wanted to make renting simple and transparent for everyone involved: the agent, the landlord, and the tenant. We knew Generation Rent would lead to more tenants, with higher digital expectations and we were confident we could provide a solution
17. Like all scale-ups it’s been a bit of a rollercoaster journey, but we’re now stronger than ever, with around 3,000 letting agents using the platform, exciting and varied products and 350 Goodlordians supporting the mission!
