The Opportunity: Due to continued business growth, we are currently recruiting a Junior Surveyor to join our Survey and UAV department. This role is largely field based and is a great opportunity for someone with previous experience in surveying looking to progress their career to work within the expeditious Geospatial industry. The successful applicant will be reporting the Head of Department and will be based out of London. What will I be doing in my new role? Lead and setup survey projects. Undertaking various types of surveys sessions using a variety of specialized equipment and technology Work with modern survey methods and survey devices such as total stations, GNSS and laser scanners. Establish survey controls, levelling, traversing, laser scanning and topographical detail data collection. Record surveying information accurately and consistently on site to the agreed specification and scope Prepare shift reports Upload data from the field into the office for post processing Ensure that all survey kit is maintained and well kept. Deliver to company policies, procedures, standards and best practices. Any other duties as required by the business Requirements of the role: A minimum of 1-2 year’s site survey experience using topographical instruments Very good level of English (written, written, speaking) Physically capable to carry out the role Willing to work around the UK Rights to work in the UK CSCS Card Full clean UK or EU manual driving licence Available for nights and weekend work on occasion What key attributes do I need?
