Description:
Our client is a profitable and rapidly expanding Software House. They are seeking a Software Support Analyst / Application Support Engineer to join their busy Software Support team. Full training in the client’s software and formal SQL qualifications & certifications will be provided. Hours are 9-5, Monday – Friday (no shift work – whoop whoop!). The office is based in the Leicestershire area.
The skills needed for this role are:
1. Previous experience of working in an Application Software Support / Customer Support role
2. Experience in call logging and dealing with 1st-3rd Line Software Support issues
3. Experience in working within a similar environment such as Enterprise, CRM, or Financial software
4. Good SQL Server, T-SQL, the ability to write scripts and interrogate databases
5. Software implementation – remote and onsite
6. Some understanding of how programming works
7. Strong verbal and written communication skills
