The job:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our distribution team at Dreams. As a Warehouse Operative, you’ll play a key role in serving our customers, ensuring their perfect bed is delivered without a hitch.
Your standard working week will be 38.75 hrs (excluding breaks), however you’ll be paid in accordance with total hours worked to allow for variations in daily routes. This includes working weekends with a day off in the week. You will need a full UK driving licence to be considered for this role.
Ready to skip the snooze button and get stuck in? Here’s a taste of what you’ll be doing day-to-day:
1. Receiving goods into the warehouse
2. Moving of Dreams delivery vehicles within the depot - Full UK driving licence required
3. Offloading and loading vehicles; including heavy lifting of products including mattresses, bedframes and sofa beds
4. Checking deliveries on to systems, and checking & completing delivery paperwork
5. Work to achieve daily targets
6. Organising and prioritising the workload
7. Assist with the smooth operation of the warehouse
