A prominent telecommunications provider is seeking a Network Engineer to contribute to the team and provide critical support across engineering and network operations. This role focuses on managing and enhancing their network infrastructure, including Layer 2 and Layer 3 circuits, provisioning new services, and troubleshooting network issues to ensure high availability and reliability.

Responsibilities:
* Assist in engineering tasks, focusing on Layer 2 and Layer 3 circuit configuration for new services.
* Support design and implementation of infrastructure projects and provisioning of network services.
* Diagnose, triage, and resolve network issues; develop remediation strategies to maintain network stability.
* Provide technical support to the Network Operations Center and field support at customer sites for troubleshooting and circuit installations.
* Document and manage network changes and communicate project statuses to internal stakeholders.
* May be required to perform additional tasks as requested by management.
Skills/Must have:
* In-depth understanding of Layer 1-3 networking, including fiber optics, VLANs, MPLS/VPLS, BGP, and OSPF.
* Experience with Juniper hardware and JUNOS.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in service provider or customer network environments.
* Experience with SD-WAN.
* SIP/voice experience.
* AWS/Azure cloud connectivity.
