Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Groundworks Team Leader at Tomley Projects. The Team Leader will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily activities of the groundworks team, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to high standards. This role involves leading by example, providing guidance to team members, and liaising with project managers.
Key Responsibilities
* Organising the day-to-day running of the site.
* Maintaining a high standard of health and safety on site.
* Adhere to best working practices and industry standards.
* Adhere to working instructions as specified by the company.
* Maintain vehicles, plant, and equipment to the highest standard during use.
* Lead by example, ensuring all working relationships are of the highest standards.
* Groundworker & 360 Operator.
* Provide paperwork, namely timesheets and equipment inspection sheets.
Qualifications
* Experience in groundworks and construction.
* Leadership and teamwork skills.
* Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
* Ability to read and interpret drawings.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Ability to maintain a good working relationship with all clients and team members.
* Experience with equipment operation and maintenance
* Ability to work to deadlines and targets.
* Ability to work in a team towards a mutual goal.
* Experience with concrete works, kerbs & drainage.
* CSCS/NPORS tickets
* Full UK Driving License (Max. 3 points)
