Position Overview
The IT Infrastructure Operations Lead is responsible for the development, optimisation, and management of the organisation’s IT infrastructure. This role ensures the maintenance, reliability, and resilience of all IT infrastructure components, including data centers, cloud services, and network security. The IT Infrastructure Operations Lead plays a crucial role in ensuring operational efficiency and managing incidents to deliver high-quality IT services.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
* Lead day-to-day IT operations to ensure efficient service delivery.
* Oversee the management of IT incidents to ensure they are resolved promptly.
* Implement continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence.
* Develop and manage the performance and development of technology operations staff.
* Ensure the reliability and optimisation of IT infrastructure.
* Engage with IT leadership and OpCos to ensure support for IT infrastructure operations initiatives.
* Manage third-party relationships with key vendors and service providers.
* Support relevant transformation activities and projects.

Experience / Education
You are/have:

* Experience managing teams within IT Infrastructure Operations.
* Professional certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or similar are highly desirable.
* Experience in the construction materials or industrial manufacturing sector.
* Proven experience in a federated matrix model.
