Job Responsibilities Apply knowledge and skills necessary to perform the duties of their clinical scope of practice. Must be capable of working alone providing solo first response and confident working with a wider team. Responding to emergency and non-emergency requests calmly, efficiently and promptly. Administering basic life support to patients at the scene, in a pre-hospital/pre-transport setting in accordance with their clinical scope of practice. Assessing the nature and extent of injury or illness to establish and prioritise medical procedures to be followed. Completing patient care forms, insurance forms, evaluation forms, and all other forms in a competent and timely fashion. Cleaning, organising and restocking supplies in a ready condition after each use. Respond to requests for emergency and non-emergency medical care at events and support event staff with general tasks. Handling radio communications professionally and efficiently with careful regard to confidentiality. Work cooperatively with assisting agencies, including event staff, volunteers, security teams, Ambulance Services, event participants and spectators. The Worker Must perform all job responsibilities in a manner that protects patient privacy. Is expected to protect the privacy of all patient information. Is encouraged and expected to report, without the threat of retaliation. Is expected to actively participate in monthly mandatory training (e-learning) and any other relevant training for their role. Must be a team player. Ensure infection prevention and control measures are maintained, and adhere to quality assurance standards. Be flexible - work shift schedule may vary due to the nature of the business. Maintain a thorough working knowledge of applicable current standards of care, including equipment functions and uses. Assure that all certifications and/or registrations are up-to-date. Conduct themselves in a courteous, helpful, dignified, and professional manner at all times when dealing with patients, their co-workers, supervisors, and the public.
