Role Overview:
As a Finance Business Partner, you will collaborate closely with various departments to drive the success of innovative projects. This role is not just about managing numbers; it's about providing valuable insights that will influence strategic decisions and align with the company's ambitious goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Collaboration: Partner with department heads to deliver financial insights that enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.
2. Reporting Excellence: Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports and dashboards, transforming complex data into actionable insights.
3. Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the budgeting process and create accurate forecasts that align with growth initiatives.
4. Performance Analysis: Analyse financial performance metrics, identify trends and variances, and uncover opportunities for improvement.
5. Business Cases: Develop compelling business cases for new initiatives and projects, showcasing their financial viability and potential return on investment (ROI).
6. Cost Management: Identify and implement strategies for cost optimisation without compromising quality or innovation.
7. Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal policies, promoting best practices across the organisation.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. A professional finance qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) is preferred.
3. A minimum of 3 years experience in a finance business partner role or a similar capacity within a fast-paced environment.
4. Strong knowledge of financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting techniques.
5. Proficiency in Excel and experience with financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
