One of our long-standing clients is looking to add an experienced Electrical Fitter to their team. They are a world leader in the design and manufacturing market.
Ideally, they would like a Time Served Electrical Fitter to work to tight specified deadlines whilst producing high-quality work. You must have the ability to read and work from technical drawings and schematics.
Role
Working in a tight-knit production team assembling a highly varied range of equipment for engineering applications. You will be involved in the mechanical assembly of often bespoke equipment, making the role highly varied month to month.
Electrical assembly of equipment from initial design, making the role differ month to month.
Capable of utilising manual machining and hand tools during the build process.
Able to search for and utilise electronic data from MRP and CAD data management systems.
Able to demonstrate finesse and an eye for detail during production to ensure our products retain their aesthetic requirements alongside their functional accuracy.
Person
1. Be a time-served electrical assembly fitter.
2. Have prior experience in the electrical fabrication of electro-mechanical equipment, including panel building, harness fabrication, and discrete wiring and soldering.
3. Have experience in fault finding/diagnostics.
4. Be computer literate.
5. Ability to work to high quality, safety, and environmental standards, ensuring equipment, supplies, and records are well maintained.
What's on offer
An excellent hourly rate, generous pension contributions, and good working conditions are offered. Working hours - Monday to Thursday days position with overtime typically available on a Friday.
