We are looking for an E-Commerce Operations Manage r to join our Nottingham team on a full-time, permanent basis. This position requires you to be in office 5 days a week and candidates will be overseeing all the fulfilment out of the UK and orders.
WHAT YOU’D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE
1. Oversees and owns all daily eCommerce operations out of the UK fulfilment centre including but not limited to order fulfilment, reverse logistics, inventory management, staff development, customer service communication
2. eCom Operational lead for Environment, Health & Safety: overall administration and implementation of EHS including initiatives, programs and procedures
3. Lead, guide, manage and continuously develop hired E-Commerce Operations associates and temporary team members along with managing and owning all on site HR processes
4. Responsible for leading and implementing a culture of continuous improvement and standardization of e-commerce operational processes
5. Monitor and own ecommerce operations start to end ; ability to analyse, investigate, and determine the root cause of issues or bottlenecks preventing perfect order fulfilment an focus on cost saving or increased throughput activities
6. Local lead of ERP system including daily monitoring and issue resolving that does not allow for perfect fulfilment experience
7. Monitor advancements in e-commerce order fulfilment automation and digital space for opportunities and new ideas to improve consumers’ order experience
8. Identify and drive quick win initiatives within Operations that support longer term business objectives
9. Cross collaboration with DECIEM departments to enable reporting on multiple eCommerce areas with the key goal of improvement- including but not limited to cost reduction, increased throughput, improved customer experience and safest practices
10. Oversee our logistics partners to ensure daily dispatches are accurate and orders are fulfilled on time and accurately.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE
11. 3+ years of people management and/or leadership experience within distribution is required
12. 5+ years of working experience in warehouse and inventory management
13. Familiarity with e-Com software (SalesForce, payment gateways, online fraud tools, personalization tools, etc.). SalesForce and Zenkraft
14. Experience working with and ERP software (SAP, Microsoft Dynamic D365)
15. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word etc.
