Job Title: Business Account Executive Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 DOE Benefits Location: Cardiff Job Summary: The Business Account Executive is responsible for cultivating and maintaining long-term business relationships that drive new apprenticeship starts with both new and existing clients. The role actively promotes a full suite of services across all contracts, working towards monthly apprenticeship start targets and company growth objectives. Key Responsibilities Specific Duties Business Development : Generate apprenticeship starts through proactive sales activities, including client visits, presentations, networking, email outreach, phone sales, and cold calling. Client Account Planning : Collaborate with the Business Account Manager to develop account plans with specific targets for client satisfaction, retention, and future sales growth. Market Research : Keep abreast of market trends to identify and pursue new business opportunities. Account Management : Lead the full client journey, from lead generation through to onboarding, ensuring client needs are met to foster long-term partnerships. Target Achievement : Meet or exceed monthly sales and performance targets in alignment with company goals and key performance indicators. Client Support : Respond to client inquiries, offer aftercare, and maintain regular service calls in a professional, timely manner. Recruitment Strategy Consultation : Work closely with clients on recruitment and training strategies, including event planning and induction sessions. Onboarding Collaboration : Partner with the onboarding team to ensure all documentation for apprentice sign-ups is complete and compliant for a seamless start. Commercial Awareness : Maintain an awareness of local business trends to drive business generation. Reporting : Regularly report on sales activities, data, and forecasts to support business needs. Person Specification Essential Experience : Proven success in a target-driven environment with experience in sales, tele-sales, client relationship management, or customer service. Skills : Excellent interpersonal, communication, influencing, negotiating, planning, and organisational skills; IT literacy. Requirements : Full driving license with access to own vehicle. Desirable Fluent in Welsh Knowledge : Familiarity with local labor and business markets, safeguarding, and Prevent policies.
