In order to provide support for the MAINSYS IT infrastructure and services, MAINSYS is looking for IT Support Engineers who will:
* Implement, maintain, manage and monitor installed systems, infrastructure, software and hardware within our offices, our IT datacenters and on the Cloud
* Troubleshoot technical issues and identify solutions to software and hardware issues and diagnostics
* Manage multiple open cases / support tickets at once
* Ensure issues are fully closed off and communicated to internal clients
* Provide accurate reporting, documentation, and technical knowledge
* Support release of new applications and test new technology and applications
* Aid in shaping how IT supports the business as a whole via contributions to the service desk and the change management processes
* Meet SLA objectives including reaction and resolution times for managed tickets
* Support on IT projects (Security, Infrastructure, Development)
* Deploy infrastructure and applications and ensure they are in line with our corporate policies
* Ensure that the IT infrastructure, systems and applications are secure, reliable, and deployed efficiently
* Implement a comprehensive patch management strategy aligned with IT goals, plan and coordinate the deployment of patches, review reports and compliance status
* Conduct security events analysis reporting, identify and manage incidents, etc.
* Document and design processes/procedures and keep them up to date
* Evaluate and recommend new IT technologies and best practices.
Your Profile
* You are an IT Support Engineer and have a degree in computer science or equivalent
* You have at least 3 years of experience as IT Support Engineer, DevOps Engineer or a similar software engineering role
* You speak French and/or Dutch and are proficient in English
* You have a broad technical knowledge of Office 365, Windows server, network management, hardware, software, etc.
* Detailed knowledge of Windows, Linux and macOS operating systems
* Previous hands-on experience
* Ability to troubleshoot user-level related network issues
* You have knowledge of or are interested in learning more about information security, business continuity, compliance management and overall understanding of IT service management
* You are dynamic, problem-solving, self-taught, customer-oriented and have team spirit
* You have skills in hosting services:
Practical experience and knowledge of concepts such as:
* Deployment models (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, etc.)
* Architecture and design
* Automation and orchestration
* Migration and integration
Experience with hosting tools and platforms is important. These include:
* Cloud service providers
* Management and monitoring tools
* Development and programming languages
* Databases and storage systems
* Networking and communication protocols
* Information security and business continuity management tools
