Role Overview
This new role in our Pro Trade Team is an entry level technical/knowledge support role for those with a passion for roses/plants/gardening. This would suit someone that is willing to learn from our technical experts to grow their expertise. We see this as a stepping stone to becoming a Rose Consultant, so having confidence, enthusiasm for roses/plants and a desire to learn, alongside well-developed communication skills will serve you well. Full training will be provided. The role requires extensive travel so a willingness to visit our customers across the UK is a must, as is a clean full driving licence.
The Professional Trade Services team key focus is to aspire to be the leading experts in the field of roses. As custodians of all existing rose gardens in the UK, the Pro Trade team aim to inspire use of roses in private and public garden schemes and ensuring once selected, the roses thrive. We also look after garden designers, landscapers and amenity services, carry out garden design and act as technical support to the wider business.
What does the job involve? day to day:
* Achieving the key deliverables through a regular & customer aligned schedule of engagement through telephone, face to face, visits, email campaigns, shows and social channels.
* First line support for customers, through telephone, email, face to face, visits, email campaigns, shows and social channels.
* Processing rose & other product orders & payments
* Following rose delivery to ensure timely delivery of orders
* Observe/shadow and be mentored in the basics of account relationship management; maintaining our current business and helping to develop new business.
* Creating planting designs for clients
* Attending trade Shows as required, and including helping to get them set up
* Observe/shadow and be mentored in undertaking customer visits, giving advice, improvements/updates to planting and product
* Being part of training and advice sessions, internal & external
* Advising clients and internal stakeholders on product and uses
* Maintain and improve brand representation in plantings (signage, labelling & consumer information material)
* Being a brand ambassador
This role requires a substantial degree of physicality in gardens (planting, pruning and other garden related activities) and frequent travel across the UK.

Working hours:
Full time, 9am to 5pm with flexibility on start times.
Location:
Remote working. This role is based at Albrighton, but you will need to be out on the road approximately 3-4 days per week visiting customers. Nights away will be required. (Accommodation and expenses will be covered).
