Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Software Test Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing and evaluating software testing processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. The analyst will collaborate with developers, project managers, and quality assurance teams to identify and resolve issues throughout the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, performance, and usability testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and issues.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely defect resolution.
• Utilize automation testing tools to enhance testing efficiency where applicable.
• Participate in requirements analysis to provide input on testability aspects.
• Ensure compliance with established testing standards and guidelines.
• Report testing progress and results to stakeholders.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in software testing.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
• Experience with manual and automated testing techniques.
• Proficiency in testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, etc.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• ISTQB Foundation Level certification or equivalent is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with cloud-based testing environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of performance and security testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
