We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic individual to join our friendly Haematology Admin Team.
Main duties of the job
This role will require the post holder to provide administrative support to the Haematology Team. Tasks will include answering the phone, sending letters and blood test request forms to patients, opening incoming post, filing slides and, after some training, making patient appointments and undertaking some audio typing.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Good General Education
* ECDL or similar
* NVQ II or similar qualification in Business Administration
Experience
* Dealing with customers/general public.
* Previous office experience.
* Use of computers.
* Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
* Evidence of a good standard of Literacy / English language skills.
* Pleasant telephone manner.
* Good Team Worker.
* Ability to communicate with staff at all levels and with patients both verbally and written.
* Good planning and organisation skills.
* Knowledge of Hospital Computer Systems.

* Punctual.
* Comply with confidentiality requirements.
