Requirements:
- We require an experienced Software Developer with a minimum of 4-5 years of commercial experience in coding with VB.NET and VB6. Familiarity with large, multi-faceted software projects and the establishment of frameworks for software development is essential. A working knowledge of agile software development processes, Azure DevOps, and MS SQL Server is also necessary. You should possess excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of the complete software development lifecycle. While not essential, experience coding with C#/.NET would be beneficial. Additionally, you must have the right to work in the UK, as we are unable to provide sponsorship.
Responsibilities:
- In your role, you will take responsibility for developing and maintaining various software applications, databases, and reports that support different business divisions. Your key daily duties will include guiding and coaching junior members of the development team, delegating tasks, resolving technical issues, and leading specific projects. You will provide high-level technical and analytical support for all software applications and work towards KPI’s in line with business needs. Collaborating with all business departments to gather software requirements, identifying the need for software development, and promoting a continuous improvement mentality within the team are also key aspects of your role. You will manage software projects from start to finish.

This position is primarily office-based, though occasional remote work may be permitted with prior management approval, following a probation period of approximately six months. Our working hours are from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with a 30-minute lunch break.
