Based in our studio in Manchester, our Ecomm Art Director will support the management of all Ecomm photography across fashion & homeware.
Attending and art directing photoshoots at the external Manchester-based ecommerce studio.
Key Responsibilities:
* On daily shoots, you will be responsible for editing and cropping all imagery produced, ensuring the final edit is on brand and consistent with ecomm guidelines.
* You will work closely with internal and external production to deliver high-quality photography on time and within budget.
* Assist with ecomm image approval and post-production processes/asset management.
* Regularly review competitor activities, keeping up to date with the latest trends & fashions across photography.
* Report to the Art Director and support them with other areas when necessary, including still life and home.
* Deliver high-impact creative ecomm imagery that meets guidelines and connects with our customers across multiple channels, including in-store, marketing, PR, digital, and internal communications.
* Work closely with the Ecomm team to continuously develop the photography to maximize sales.
* Collaborate with the creative marketing team to help manage shoot requirements, calendars, and schedules. Excellent work management and organizational skills are needed.
Minimum Requirements:
* 3+ years as a proven Art Director or similar creative role, preferably with fashion retail experience focusing on Ecomm and still life.
* Enthusiastic and energetic with the ability to deliver creative solutions.
* A proven track record of working with production companies to deliver projects on time and within budget in a challenging retail environment.
* Practical knowledge and understanding of the design and layout process, competent in using Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign and Photoshop. Previous knowledge of Capture One would be beneficial.
* Experience working with and developing ecomm photography brand guidelines.
* Experience working with and presenting to key stakeholders in the buying teams, forming good working relationships.
* Excellent work management and organizational skills.
* Experience working with the styling team to advise on the styling of each item to ensure the best representation of the product.
* Knowledge of the post-production process, able to mark up effectively for the best final output.
