We are assisting a well-established, multi-service firm in the Midlands seeking Conveyancing support for their newly opened Market Harborough office. In this role, you will work alongside a fee earner, assisting with managing sale files from start to finish while providing support to the wider team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in residential conveyancing, as support with progression and career development will be offered.
Responsibilities include:
1. Taking client instructions and verifying ID, source of funds, and gift deposits
2. Preparing and issuing sales contracts
3. Requesting mortgage redemption figures
4. Responding to sales enquiries for both freehold and leasehold properties
5. Drafting sales completion statements
6. Ordering and reviewing property searches
7. Keeping clients and agents updated on case progress
8. Managing the exchange of contracts for sales and purchases
9. Requesting mortgage advances and conducting pre-completion searches
10. Coordinating and setting up property completions
11. Handling post-completion tasks
What we need from you:
1. Some experience in a Conveyancing team is essential
2. Strong verbal and written communication skills
3. Ability to work well under pressure with a calm and resilient approach
4. Excellent keyboard and word processing skills
5. High attention to detail and accuracy
6. Positive, friendly, and professional demeanor
7. Strong organisational skills and ability to maintain confidentiality
8. Team player with a proactive attitude
