Under the mentorship of the management team, you will help lead a dynamic team in delivering high-quality play for children aged 4 - 11 years and actively support the Setting Manager in the development and daily management of a thriving and successful Breakfast and After School club. Person Specification:
1. Has NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent qualification in Play work, Childcare, Early Years, or holds Qualified Teacher Status or is willing to work towards a qualification.
2. Has a minimum of 2 years experience of working with children aged 4 – 11 years.
3. You must have a good understanding of the relevant national standards and guidance for Out of School Care. An awareness of child protection issues and procedures is essential.
4. You will have effective organization skills and the ability to perform administrative tasks.
5. You will have effective communication skills to be able to inform, persuade, inspire, and motivate children and staff.
6. You will be able to build rapport with parents and school leads.
