Role Overview £70-85K We’re taking an important step in our journey and are looking for an experienced product marketing manager to join our team to develop and execute effective strategies that promote both our established product and our next gen product piloting in early 2025. You will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal positioning of our products, leading cross-functional initiatives to drive product adoption and revenue growth. You will work closely with product colleagues and with the sales, marketing and client experience teams, aligning product messaging with customer needs & market trends, ensuring appropriate enablement materials to support our sales motion. If you're passionate about collaborating with talented colleagues, driving revenue through the effective positioning and promotion of world-class products, we want to hear from you Key Responsibilities Research & Customer Insights Conduct in-depth research to understand customer pain points, trends, competitive landscape, and opportunities. Work closely with customer success teams to understand product adoption challenges and develop materials to facilitate user engagement. Gather customer feedback and collaborate with product colleagues to prioritise product enhancements. Analyse customer data to refine product positioning and marketing strategies. Go-to-Market Strategy Lead the go-to-market (GTM) planning and execution for product launches and new feature releases. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales etc.) to ensure successful product launches. Create launch plans that incorporate messaging, marketing campaigns, training, and sales enablement. Product Positioning & Messaging Define and refine product positioning and messaging that clearly communicates the value of our products to target audiences. Develop compelling product narratives and content that resonate with both technical and non-technical buyers. Create product collateral to support marketing, sales and client success teams. Sales Enablement Develop tools and resources to support the sales team in effectively selling our products. Ensure the sales team are trained on product features, benefits, and value propositions to support sales effectiveness. Work closely with sales to identify customer objections and refine messaging to address these challenges. Content Creation & Campaigns Support marketing campaigns that drive product adoption and awareness among potential customers. Provide content for email marketing, webinars, blogs, social media, and more to support the sales pipeline. Analytics & Reporting Track the performance of product marketing initiatives (including product launches, campaigns, and sales materials). Use analytics tools to measure product performance and customer feedback to refine strategies. Provide regular updates on product marketing KPIs and suggest improvements based on data-driven insights. Key Requirements 8 years of experience in a product marketing role, in a fast-paced SaaS/ tech environment, ideally within HR Tech. Evidence of impact in a blended SaaS model combining platform and high-touch support. Bachelor’s degree ideally in Marketing or other business-related Strong understanding of SaaS customer personas, sales cycles, and buying behaviour. Proven track record in developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies for SaaS products. Tech-savvy, with understanding of product development and engineering builds Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives. Experience with product launches and working cross-functionally with sales, marketing and customer success teams. Ability to analyse data and customer insights to optimise strategies. Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
