We're after a Project Manager like you who can lead the delivery of a £7m new build prison unit on part of an existing prison. Naturally, you'll be challenged by the nature of working in a live prison but you'll also develop a profound knowledge of MOJ work which is currently seeing £12 billion of investment each year and growing. In what is a challenging market now in recession, this will secure your future for the next 5 years and we'll be able to keep you local too!
The company you'll be joining are amongst the largest in the UK, and one of the most cash rich too with over £500m in the bank. Once again, this is a very secure company that will be able to invest in your future for years to come. You can expect to work on projects anywhere from £5m - £100m in value and cover sectors from MOJ, MOD, Education, Healthcare and Apartments & Student Residential.
As Project Manager, you'll have full responsibility over the project and site team including full management of the client. If perhaps you've not managed the client before, we're happy to support with the development into this position. Perhaps you're a site manager that wants to step up? Absolutely fine. What you will need to be eligible for this role is new build construction experience working for a main contractor - that is essential.
