Field Team Leader
Location – Bonnybridge/Glenrothes
Salary – up to £52,500 per annum (based on experience) plus excellent benefits and career progression opportunities.

Role
The role of Field Team Leader involves reporting to the Head of Resources and Work Planning. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and developing a multi-disciplined team of industrial staff in delivering the safe, effective, and productive provision of outputs associated with the relevant element of the distribution delivery plan.
What You’ll be Doing
As our Field Team Leader, you will:
1. Promote and drive an exemplary health and safety culture and performance, to ensure safe and efficient delivery of all works associated with the overall district delivery plan.
2. Lead and coach a team of industrial staff to ensure safe working practices are utilised in the course of maximising outputs and productivity levels in line with relevant business objectives.
3. Ensure teams are competent, authorised, and equipped to meet the needs of the work programme.
4. Prepare and manage budgets and monitor appropriate cost information from relevant financial systems.
5. Through utilisation of productivity reports and effective performance management, manage the behaviours and performance of team members.
6. Management of Attendance, Disciplinary, Grievance, and additional processes associated with employees’ terms and conditions.
7. Proactively assist respective areas in the management of daily and long-term resource planning.
8. Support the efficient and effective delivery of performance targets as appropriate.
9. Respond appropriately to Customer Complaints, taking ownership and resolving as appropriate.
What You’ll Bring
As our Field Team Leader, you will have:
1. Working knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation, along with Industrial relations framework.
2. Sound IT skills.
3. Experience of managing, motivating, coaching, and developing teams.
4. Effective Stakeholder Management and Customer Service skills.
5. Ability to communicate and present information effectively at all levels.
6. Awareness of Energy Networks policies, procedures, and working practices, associated with the management of people and the execution of work plans.
7. Knowledge of network and business data and network management systems.
Minimum Requirements
1. SVQ/NVQ qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
2. Proven experience in a comparable team management role.
3. Where required, relevant operational experience.
