The Role
As a Dispute Resolution Partner, you will play a pivotal role in driving the firm’s contentious practice forward. You will work closely with a team of high-calibre legal professionals, providing strategic leadership and expert advice across a broad range of disputes, including:
* Arbitration and mediation
* Commercial contract issues, including technology, outsourcing, and supply chain disputes
* Contentious probate
* Corporate disputes, including claims following acquisitions and between shareholders
* Defamation
* Franchising and licensing disputes
* Injunctive relief
* Intellectual property infringements
* Judicial review
* Professional and other negligence
* Public procurement
Key Responsibilities:
* Leading complex dispute resolution matters, ensuring high-quality client service and commercial solutions.
* Strengthening existing client relationships and developing new business opportunities.
* Mentoring and developing junior lawyers within the team.
* Collaborating with colleagues across departments to provide a full-service offering to clients.
* Contributing to the strategic growth of the firm’s Dispute Resolution practice.
About You:
* A proven track record as a Dispute Resolution Partner or an experienced Senior Associate ready to step up.
* Strong expertise in one or more of the key areas of practice listed above.
* A commercially focused approach with the ability to win and retain business.
* Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and client management skills.
* A solid network of contacts and a history of successful business development.
