An internal appointment has created the need to hire an experienced Sales Director to run the commercial function of the business, leading an established and well-organized team.
You will manage all existing customer relationships as well as help drive a new stream of business from new and current clients. Leading from the front, you will be front and center in new client pitches as well as enabling your team to develop their own portfolios.
This role will report to the CEO, and you will enjoy a free rein in terms of decision-making and commercial strategy development.
Your background will be in third-party logistics, and you will be able to sell complex end-to-end supply chain solutions across a range of industries. You will also be capable of managing detailed tender processes and leading complex bid cycles.
This will combine with your ability to lead and develop a team, nurturing talent and hiring the next generation of sales professionals for the business.
