Behaviour Mentor
Location: Harrow, London
Rate: £12.50 to £16.50 per hour (depending on experience)

Introduction: We are an esteemed education agency representing a forward-thinking Secondary School in Harrow, London. Currently, we are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join the school's support team.
Responsibilities: As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive and inclusive school environment, providing essential support to students facing behavioural challenges. Key responsibilities include:
1. Individual Support: Work one-on-one with students to address behavioural issues, implementing strategies for improvement and personal development.
2. Group Interventions: Facilitate group sessions aimed at promoting positive behaviour and social skills.
3. Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to develop and implement behaviour plans.
4. Monitoring Progress: Regularly assess and monitor the progress of students, adjusting interventions as necessary.
5. Crisis Management: Provide support during challenging situations, employing de-escalation techniques when required.
Requirements:
6. Previous experience as a Behaviour Mentor or in a similar role within an educational setting is advantageous.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Empathy and understanding towards the diverse needs of students.
9. Ability to implement and adapt behaviour management strategies.
