At Blackpool Sixth College, an outstanding provider of 16-19 education, we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Examinations Officer to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of examinations within our thriving and highly successful college community.

Experience of working in an examinations department would be advantageous, but not essential, as training would be provided to the successful candidate.

A day in Examinations could see you:
\n
\n
* Communicating with many stakeholders including students, college-wide staff, parents/carers and awarding bodies whilst delivering a high-quality examinations service across the college,
\n
* Assisting with the creation of examination entries and qualification registrations,
\n
* Overseeing the operational arrangements of an exam session, including organisation of exam papers, managing students arriving, supporting invigilators preparing for an exam, sending scripts to the awarding body,
\n
* Supervising the receipt of coursework from curriculum departments for submission to awarding bodies.

Salary: £21,181 to £22,699 per annum, based on term time working

Hours: 36.25 hour full time, staff college term time only, plus 10 additional days
