The Role:
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Regional Account Manager to join our dynamic and growing team at PPS where you will play a pivotal role in driving customer satisfaction and business growth. As part of our ambitious, family run business, you’ll have the exciting opportunity to build meaningful relationships with customers across a range of industries while working with innovative products and solutions.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing their needs and exceeding their expectations.
2. 60/40 split between being in the office and out seeing customers, ensuring regular communication and collaboration with the sales team to deliver results.
3. Develop, manage and update account plans for high value customers, identifying opportunities to strengthen relationships and drive additional revenue.
4. Meet or exceed sales targets, contributing to the company’s growth objectives.
5. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and account status.
6. Understand your customer’s evolving needs, providing tailored solutions, and serving as a trusted advisor.
7. Lead account review meetings to identify and unlock customer growth potential.
8. Conduct site surveys and offer innovative, cost-effective cleaning solutions to continuously find new ways to upsell/cross-sell to your customers.
9. Stay ahead of market trends, competitor activities and new product launches.
10. Represent the company at networking and industry events.
11. Assist the Account Managers, when necessary, by attending external meetings, product demonstrations and training.
12. Work closely and report to the Sales Manager, providing regular updates on sales performance, key sales metrics and market trends.
Skills & Attributes:
* Proven success in a sales/account management/business development role, with a track record of driving revenue growth.
* Consultative solution selling approach with a focus on building long-term customer relationships.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
* Proficient in CRM systems and digital tools for sales reporting and analysis.
* Collaborative working approach with all internal teams e.g. Sales, operation, customer service.
* Excellent administrative, communication, negotiation and planning skills with the ability to negotiate and influence effectively.
* Industry experience is preferred but not essential to this role, with a willingness to learn new product ranges.
* Full UK driving licence.
